Thirty-One Days of Summer: Week 3

Jump to: Week 1, Week 2, Last 10 Days

I can’t believe I’m on week three already! Here are the pictures I took…

July 15. Five // Fifth fret. I’m learning Cuckoo Bird on my mandolin.

July 16. Little // My lil bro’s hot wheel car. I love this little vintage *adorable* van.

July 17. Negative space // Playing tag in the empty school bus. So much fun!

July 18. My favorite place // This is ONE of my favorite places. Aside from Tractor Supply, the library and Hot Springs, AR, I love the little county road right by where we live. Getting away from all the hustle and bustle of life just to walk and be with your family… so amazing.

July 19. Happiness // Little chick. My lil bro runs in and says, “The broody hen had her chicks!” I think Happiness. Love these little puff balls.

July 20. Free choice // I’ve been wanting to take a picture of this spider in our barn for awhile. I was in there the other day with my little siblings and we found three big juicy beetles to feed to him. We all stood in wonder of our Creator as we watched this perfectly designed creature wrap his meal in plastic wrap looking stuff. He then stuck his suckers in the beetle and feasted. So on this day I tried to recreate what we saw the other day by turning over logs looking for big bugs (through much sweat and labor). FINALLY I caught a 3-inch long beetle and excitingly threw him into the web. All of that, to wait for thirty minutes and the spider not to touch the beetle. I had to opt for just a picture of the spider. Too bad y’all couldn’t see him eating the beetle! I have a memory with this picture though…

July 21. Rule of thirds // The corn field across the street from us. At sunset there are lots of pretty birds flying gracefully over the field. Beautiful, calm and peaceful.

About Abigail

I love the word “down home”…

Of, relating to, or reminiscent of a simple, wholesome, unpretentious lifestyle, especially that associated with the rural southern United States.

That’s me in a nutshell.

I live way out in the country in Texas and enjoy my busy life living in a large family. I love photography, piano, sewing, and, most of all, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. If you died tonight would you go to Heaven of Hell?
