Random Bits of 2015

Happy new year, y’all!

Last Christmas my mom got a DSLR and she has so graciously allowed me to use it over the past year. I have learned so much about photography since.
I’ve had fun experimenting and playing around with manual focus while filming. Recently, I whittled an hour and a half of video footage from last year into a 4-minute video about our school bus, garden, fireworks, microgreens, and random lovely bits of my family…

This was a difficult project, but my labor of love. I am proud of how it turned out, despite the imperfections in filming. I look forward to all I will learn about to improve my photography/videography in 2016! Here are a few pictures, too…

About Abigail

I love the word “down home”... Of, relating to, or reminiscent of a simple, wholesome, unpretentious lifestyle, especially that associated with the rural southern United States. That's me in a nutshell. I live way out in the country in Texas and enjoy my busy life living in a large family. I love photography, piano, sewing, and, most of all, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. If you died tonight would you go to Heaven of Hell? www.downhome.me/salvation
